code of conduct
In order to create a safe and respectful environment for all presenters – especially students and those presenting “work in progress” – the KBA Network commits to promoting the proper ethical use of research data and results. We therefore request that all participants adhere to the following:
1. Presentations will only be recorded and uploaded to the network’s website/internet with the consent of the presenter. All presentations should be properly cited. Please indicate if you do NOT want your presentation recorded.
2. Research data and results distributed via the network should only be referenced or shared with third parties with the explicit consent of the presenter. Such consent can be indicated on shared media (handouts, presentations), or granted individually through one-to-one correspondence.
3. If research data and results are intended for circulation and reference, presenters are encouraged to indicate their preferred way of citation (“cite as …”).
